Reviews
Stayed for one night, very nice and new hotel. From the metro, the road takes exactly 2 minutes. I met very polite staff, arranged everything and settled in just a few minutes. Everything in the room is new, clean, plumbing is in perfect condition like everything else in the room! The windows overlooked the historic building of the Eliseevsky department store. I can say that the hotel fully met expectations and is worth all the money paid. I will definitely be back!

I found the entrance to the hotel from Tverskaya Street without any problems. Thanks to the polite staff, everything was told and shown in detail. Fresh renovation, nice upholstered furniture, clean bed linen. Daily quality room cleaning. Ordered breakfast, brought to the room exactly on time, the dish could be chosen. I will definitely visit again.

800 meters from the Kremlin on the main street at Tverskaya, 12, building 2, our cozy hotel «izdatel'» is located. Back in the 30s of the 19th century, one of the first hotels in Moscow named after Shevaldyshev was located in this house, owned by Count Saltykov. Many famous people of that time stayed at this hotel, which was considered one of the best in Moscow. Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy rented apartments here several times. The famous poet Afanasy Fet often stayed in the rooms and loved to live and create in a cozy atmosphere Fyodor Tyutchev. Later, the talented Alexander Vertinsky settled in the house on Tverskaya 12.
The famous book publisher and one of the most enlightened people in Russia of his time, Ivan Dmitrievich Sytin, lived here, in a five-room apartment on the second floor, which now houses a magnificent, cozy and very atmospheric museum named after him. We are incredibly proud of such neighbors. We look forward to welcoming you to our atmospheric hotel «izdatel'», built with love and care.
